Delivered a security-focused enhancement to the runatlantis/atlantis repository by implementing Bitbucket Cloud webhook signature validation and secret support. This work involved integrating new API authentication mechanisms using Go, removing outdated validation logic to reduce technical debt, and updating Markdown documentation to clarify the revised workflow. The approach improved the reliability and security of webhook processing for Bitbucket Cloud users, aligning with project goals for robust backend development. By focusing on secure API integration and clear documentation, the changes simplified maintenance and reduced the risk of misconfiguration, resulting in a more dependable and maintainable integration for the Atlantis platform.
