During February 2026, Alosarjos contributed to the ghostty-org/ghostty repository by implementing Spanish (Spain) translations to enhance accessibility for Spanish-speaking users. Focusing on localization readiness, Alosarjos delivered the es_ES.UTF-8 translation using Zig, applying internationalization (i18n) and UTF-8 encoding best practices. The work addressed language barriers and improved the user experience for a broader audience, positioning Ghostty for increased international engagement. Although no bugs were fixed during this period, the contribution demonstrated disciplined Git collaboration and a methodical approach to localization workflows.
