Worked on stabilizing the build and deployment process for the easybuilders/easybuild-easyblocks repository, focusing on improving reliability across different environments. Addressed a deployment issue by explicitly setting the Rust toolchain to the stable channel, which prevented the use of rust-lld as the default linker and mitigated RPATH-related problems. This approach enhanced compatibility and reproducibility in CI/CD pipelines, reducing the risk of flaky deployments. Leveraged skills in build systems and configuration management, primarily using Python and Rust, to ensure a consistent and predictable build process. The work contributed to more robust deployment workflows and streamlined cross-platform support for the project.
