Worked on the crossplane-contrib/provider-upjet-aws repository to improve reliability in multi-tenant secret management for RDS resources. Addressed a critical bug by standardizing the writeConnectionSecretToRef configuration, specifically removing the predefined namespace from example YAML files. This change reduced configuration drift and simplified onboarding for users managing cloud infrastructure with Kubernetes. The update ensured that RDS usage examples aligned with namespace-agnostic secret handling, making secret management more consistent and maintainable.
