This work involved migrating MTU handling to a runtime configuration pathway, which reduced operational overhead and allowed on-demand tuning for diverse workloads and multi-cluster environments. The implementation required expertise in BPF, C programming, and Go programming, as well as integration between kernel and user space. By enabling runtime MTU changes, the solution lowered downtime for MTU-related adjustments and improved agility in network management, demonstrating a focused approach to performance and operational efficiency.
