Amir Ameri contributed to the gristlabs/grist-core repository by delivering an initial Persian localization update for the Grist Client, focusing on expanding accessibility for Persian-speaking users. He integrated translations using Weblate, establishing a workflow for internationalization and managing translation files in the INI format. This work resulted in a 2.8% translation progress, laying the groundwork for future multilingual support and broader market reach. Although the contribution was limited to a single feature over one month, Amir’s efforts provided a traceable process for ongoing localization, ensuring that future updates can build on a structured and maintainable internationalization foundation.
