Worked on enhancing the DuckDuckGo app’s internationalization by introducing new localization tokens focused on privacy, sync, and encrypted storage within the duckduckgo/duckduckgo-locales repository. Leveraged PO language files and localization best practices to clarify user-facing messaging around privacy features and storage capabilities. This effort supported the app’s localization roadmap by laying a scalable foundation for future locale expansion and improving transparency for users. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with the primary focus on feature development. The work demonstrated skills in internationalization, localization, and software development, contributing to clearer communication and broader accessibility for global users.
