Developed a MongoDB sink connector for the apache/iggy repository, enabling durable persistence and efficient querying of stream messages within the Iggy framework. The work focused on backend development using Rust and asynchronous programming, integrating MongoDB as a storage backend to support analytics and auditing use cases. Collaborated across teams to ensure the connector aligned with the existing framework architecture and reinforced pipeline resilience. The implementation included end-to-end connector development and integration testing, expanding storage flexibility and improving data durability. This contribution enhanced the framework’s readiness for downstream analytics by facilitating reliable storage and later retrieval of streaming data.
