Amul developed a MongoDB sink connector for the apache/iggy repository, enabling the Iggy framework to persist stream messages durably in MongoDB for later analytics and auditing. Working primarily in Rust, Amul applied asynchronous programming and backend development skills to integrate MongoDB as a storage backend, ensuring data durability and efficient querying. The connector was designed to align with Iggy’s architecture, supporting end-to-end integration and resilience in the data pipeline. Through cross-team collaboration and thorough integration testing, Amul’s work expanded the framework’s storage flexibility and improved readiness for downstream analytics, demonstrating depth in database integration and connector development.
