Developed an end-to-end user password reset flow for the FinSimIQ/fin-sim-web-app repository, focusing on improving authentication user experience and security. The work involved building a dedicated ResetPassword screen using React and Chakra UI, integrating it with backend APIs to process password reset requests seamlessly. By aligning the frontend with backend endpoints, the implementation reduced user friction during password recovery and ensured consistent handling of authentication workflows. The project utilized JavaScript and JSX to deliver a cohesive interface, emphasizing frontend development best practices. This feature addressed a key user need by streamlining the password reset process and enhancing overall application usability.
