Worked on the FinSimIQ/fin-sim-web-app repository to refactor the Weekly Market Challenge quiz system, focusing on architectural improvements without introducing user-facing regressions. The approach involved extracting quiz logic from Challenges.jsx into modular components, specifically QuizContainer.jsx and QuestionCard.jsx, to enhance code organization and reusability. Utilized React, Chakra UI, and JavaScript to implement these changes, resulting in a more maintainable frontend structure. Minor UI adjustments were made to preserve the existing quiz flow, while clearer component boundaries improved testability and onboarding for new team members. The work established a solid foundation for future feature enhancements within the quiz system.
