Worked on the smart-data-models/incubated repository to expand the Vehicle data model by introducing a leasingInfo property, enabling municipalities to manage leased vehicle fleets and analyze total cost of ownership. The approach involved designing and implementing a new JSON schema element to capture leasing contract details such as type, duration, costs, and distance allowances. Leveraging skills in API development, JSON schema, and data modeling, the work ensured the data model was ready for future analytics and reporting needs. Documentation was provided to outline the schema evolution, supporting ongoing enhancements for asset visibility and cost transparency in municipal fleet management.
