Worked on the conjurdemos/conjur-intro repository to enhance demo environment reliability by addressing a bug in the automated retrieval of Conjur master nodes’ public DNS. Focused on shell scripting using Bash, the developer corrected the JSON path in a jq command, ensuring accurate extraction of DNS information from deployment data. This targeted fix restored consistent, automated DNS discovery across public deployments, reducing the need for manual intervention and troubleshooting. The work demonstrated careful attention to data parsing and version control, resulting in smoother, repeatable onboarding demos and a more dependable workflow for users relying on automated environment setup processes.
