Worked on enhancing the upgrade test suite for the conjurdemos/conjur-intro repository, focusing on validating AWS issuer management and dynamic secrets after upgrades. Leveraged Shell scripting and automation skills to implement issuer creation and listing within upgrade scenarios, while introducing a parameter to selectively skip dynamic secrets testing for faster test cycles. Improved API client error reporting to provide clearer diagnostics during issuer operations, facilitating quicker troubleshooting. Extended the test coverage to exercise dynamic secrets post-upgrade, strengthening end-to-end validation and reducing operational risk. The work emphasized automation, DevOps practices, and robust testing to improve upgrade reliability and security assurance.
