Worked on stability improvements for the containerd detector within the google/osv-scalibr repository, focusing on resolving a critical bug affecting container directory mapping. Addressed an issue where snapshot IDs were incorrectly parsed by updating the logic to interpret them as unsigned 64-bit integers, ensuring accurate inventory tracking across container environments. Enhanced the reliability of the detector by expanding test coverage to validate behavior under diverse container configurations, reducing the risk of regressions. Utilized Go for system programming and debugging, applying test-driven development practices and leveraging containerization expertise to reinforce the correctness and maintainability of the codebase during this period.
