During the month, contributed to mozilla/gecko-dev by implementing two features focused on enhancing CSS styling flexibility for web platform components. Developed Material Design-aligned outer box-shadow support, relaxing previous restrictions to allow non-inset shadows on UI elements and updating associated tests to ensure reliability. Additionally, expanded the layout options for the permission element by enabling support for 'flex' and 'block' display values, with comprehensive testing to validate these broader configurations. The work involved extensive use of CSS, HTML, and JavaScript, demonstrating a methodical approach to web development and platform testing while addressing specific design and usability requirements within the codebase.
