In alphagov/govuk_publishing_components, prioritized reliability by rolling back the govuk_app_config dependency to resolve stability issues, employing Ruby and version control best practices. Emphasized safe code hygiene, regression testing, and thorough documentation to minimize risk and maintain production stability, with all work centered on bug fixes and maintainability rather than new feature development.
