Over seven months, contributed to the instructure/canvas-lms repository by building and refining assignment, peer review, and differentiation tag workflows. Leveraged Ruby on Rails, React, and GraphQL to deliver features such as dynamic peer review allocation, CSV import/export for differentiation tags, and robust assignment submission controls. Addressed concurrency and data integrity issues through targeted backend fixes and comprehensive test coverage, while enhancing accessibility and user experience across UI components. Implemented feature flags, end-to-end testing with Selenium, and state management to support safe rollouts and maintainability. The work emphasized reliability, scalability, and clear user guidance for both instructors and students.
