Worked on the tyler-technologies-oss/forge repository to enhance accessibility and user experience in pagination controls. Addressed a persistent paginator issue by refactoring the button enabling logic, resolving double focus and highlight problems that affected keyboard navigation. This update consolidated focus state handling, reducing rendering glitches and supporting future UI improvements. The solution was implemented using TypeScript and front end development best practices, with a strong emphasis on UI/UX design and accessibility compliance. The targeted bug fix improved compatibility with assistive technologies and contributed to higher product quality, demonstrating a methodical approach to maintainability and traceability through a single-source commit.
