Developed and delivered a feature for the potiuk/airflow repository that enables the Google Cloud Base Hook to support quota project IDs, allowing API usage to be billed to a project different from the service account owner. This work involved integrating validation logic for project ID formats and embedding this validation into both connection settings and hook parameters. Using Python and reStructuredText, the developer focused on backend development and API integration, enhancing cost attribution and governance for organizations with multi-tenant Google Cloud environments. The implementation lays the foundation for more granular billing and usage tracking without introducing any bug fixes during the period.
