Worked on the semgrep/semgrep repository to deliver a targeted user experience improvement in vulnerability reporting. Developed and integrated a feature that distinguishes between Basic and Malicious outputs within the Analysis Summary, enhancing clarity for users and supporting more accurate triage. Leveraged JavaScript and Python to implement UI and reporting enhancements, ensuring that vulnerability dashboards now display separate counts for each output type. Maintained alignment with both upstream and proprietary branches through disciplined commit practices and cross-repository synchronization. This work enables more precise risk prioritization, reduces ambiguity in vulnerability reports, and accelerates remediation cycles for security-critical findings in production environments.
