Developed and released the Google Slides Toolkit for Google Workspace within the phidatahq/phidata repository, completing Agno’s suite of automation tools for Google Workspace. The toolkit introduced 19 Python-based utilities for programmatic creation, reading, and management of Google Slides presentations via the Slides API, enabling end-to-end automation of presentation workflows. Integrated OAuth authentication and service account support to maintain consistency with existing toolkits. Ensured code quality through comprehensive unit testing, static type checking with mypy, and validation scripts. Updated documentation and provided cookbook examples, supporting scalable and repeatable slide operations while reducing manual intervention for Agno agents and workflows.
March 2026: Delivered the Google Slides Toolkit for Google Workspace, completing Agno's Google Workspace toolset (Sheets, Docs, Drive, Calendar, Gmail) with Slides support. Implemented 19 tools covering presentation management, slide operations, content creation/reading, and batch updates. The toolkit authenticates using the same OAuth/service account patterns as existing toolkits. Validated with format/validation scripts; all checks passed; documentation and cookbook examples added. Reference commit e11b4c2679f1c81b8251cd6d65536781f12e84aa adds the toolkit.
