During December 2024, Antvgr completed full French localization for the Traewelling/traewelling repository, translating 821 interface strings to support Francophone users. Leveraging Weblate, Antvgr established a scalable translation workflow directly integrated with the project’s codebase, ensuring future updates can be managed efficiently. The work focused on localization, with particular attention to language accuracy and user experience, and was delivered entirely in French. By achieving 100% translation coverage, Antvgr enabled Traewelling to expand its reach to French-speaking audiences and laid the groundwork for broader internationalization. The contribution was feature-focused, with no bug fixes, and demonstrated depth in localization engineering.
