Worked on the scality/Arsenal repository to enhance error messaging clarity and maintainability, focusing on the standardization of the BucketAlreadyOwnedByYou error message. Addressed a key bug by aligning this error with AWS error descriptions, which improved user understanding during bucket creation attempts. The update was implemented in TypeScript and emphasized API compliance and robust error handling, ensuring consistent semantics across different environments. Care was taken to maintain backward compatibility while refining the user experience and supportability. This work contributed to clearer communication of bucket creation failures, supporting both end users and operators with more predictable and maintainable error responses.
