Worked on the extenda/hiiretail-json-schema-registry repository to standardize the Refund Rules JSON Schema, delivering Version 1 to support structured and validated refund configurations across services. Focused on data modeling and schema definition using JSON and JSON Schema, the work included introducing versioned schema artifacts and integrating validation hooks to ensure consistent policy handling. Adjustments to required fields improved data integrity, and changes were applied throughout the registry to enable the new schema and related tooling. The approach emphasized maintainability and alignment across platforms, preparing the schema for production rollout and enabling more reliable, uniform handling of refund policies system-wide.
