Worked on the ROCm/onnxruntime repository to upgrade the minimum required version of the protobuf dependency to 4.25.8, ensuring compatibility and access to recent fixes across Python manifests. The approach involved updating multiple requirements files, including those for training, development, and documentation, to maintain consistent dependency constraints. This work focused on dependency management and Python development, aligning cross-file dependencies to support reliable runtime and build workflows. Documentation and requirements references were also revised to reflect the new standards, streamlining continuous integration and onboarding processes. The contribution addressed a single feature, emphasizing careful coordination and attention to cross-environment compatibility.
