Focused on backend development using Go and C, the work introduced an is_jsonrpc flag and refactored span attribution logic to improve the accuracy of JSON-RPC span tracking. Span naming was corrected to ensure consistency and readability across distributed traces, aiding in issue diagnosis. Additionally, logging for JSON-RPC spans was enriched by capturing method, version, request ID, error code, and error message, which improved debugging capabilities. The contributions emphasized production readiness and alignment with OpenTelemetry tracing standards.
