Addressed a bug by reverting a previous change that had complexified the initialization process, restoring the use of a single complex alpha parameter instead of separate x and y parameters. This simplification reduced representation complexity and improved numerical stability in phase-space manipulations, while maintaining backward compatibility with existing workflows. The work involved disciplined use of Git for targeted code reversion and regression checks. Utilized Python and applied skills in code reversion, numerical simulation, and quantum optics to ensure robust and maintainable code.
