Worked on the dataform-co/dataform repository to enhance configuration flexibility by introducing first-class support for both YAML and YML file extensions. Leveraged TypeScript and full stack development skills to update the compile path, ensuring the system accurately recognizes and processes both extension types. Developed and maintained comprehensive tests to validate correct compilation of files with these extensions, contributing to improved reliability and broader adoption. Additionally, reorganized imports within the test suite to promote readability and maintainability. The work focused on expanding configuration format support and strengthening test coverage, laying the groundwork for more extensible and robust configuration management in Dataform.
