Worked on the FlatFilers/flatfile-core-libraries repository to enhance the resilience of the Flatfile Listener by improving error recovery for event handlers. Focused on targeted error handling within the event-driven architecture, the work addressed issues that previously led to cascading failures and downtime in data ingestion pipelines. The solution was implemented as a traceable changeset and a single, reviewable commit, ensuring maintainability and accountability. Leveraged skills in error handling and event management, with changes documented in Markdown to support clear communication and release tracking. This effort stabilized the listener component, resulting in higher reliability and faster recovery from transient errors.
