Specifically, the CAT_FASTQ output was migrated to a topic channel with improved version handling, enabling smoother integration with downstream workflows, and the testing framework was hardened by fixing missing version information in subworkflow snapshots and adding assertions to validate versions. Related subworkflows were updated to remove legacy out.versions references and snapshots refreshed. These changes improve build reliability, downstream workflow integration, and version traceability.
