In March 2025, Arjun Kulkarni developed an SCTP networking example for Kubernetes within the GoogleCloudPlatform/kubernetes-engine-samples repository. He designed and implemented a containerized SCTP echo server using Docker and provided comprehensive Kubernetes deployment and service YAML manifests. His work included detailed Markdown documentation to guide users through setup and testing, enabling reproducible SCTP experimentation in Kubernetes clusters. By aligning the example with repository standards, Arjun improved maintainability and discoverability for future contributors. This contribution expanded the repository’s protocol coverage, offering developers a practical test harness for SCTP networking scenarios and addressing the need for robust, protocol-specific Kubernetes samples.
