Developed and contributed an SCTP networking example to the GoogleCloudPlatform/kubernetes-engine-samples repository, expanding the suite of Kubernetes networking scenarios. The work involved creating a Dockerfile for an SCTP echo server, authoring deployment and service YAML manifests, and writing comprehensive Markdown documentation to guide users through setup and testing. By providing a reproducible test harness, this example enables developers to experiment with SCTP protocol support within Kubernetes clusters. The implementation adhered to repository conventions and documentation standards, ensuring maintainability and discoverability. This contribution deepened protocol coverage in the sample repository and facilitated easier SCTP experimentation for Kubernetes users and contributors.
