Worked on enhancing frontend stability in the EightfoldAI/octuple repository by addressing a rendering issue in table components. Focused on improving user experience by introducing a default fallback width for the table scroller, which resolved inconsistencies that occurred when column definitions were missing. This targeted bug fix reduced UI jitter and improved reliability by ensuring consistent width calculations, thereby minimizing rendering churn. The solution was implemented using React with both JavaScript and TypeScript, emphasizing maintainability and low-risk deployment. The work demonstrated attention to frontend resilience, with changes linked to a specific commit for traceability and clear documentation within the project.
