In January 2025, Alex Geiger delivered an end-to-end Cloud Pak for Data deployment on OpenShift using Terraform, focusing on the terraform-ibm-watsonx-self-managed-ocp repository. Alex implemented infrastructure as code practices to provision OpenShift clusters and deploy watsonx.ai capabilities, updating deployment configurations and documentation for clarity and repeatability. Additionally, Alex improved infrastructure provisioning reliability in terraform-ibm-code-engine by resolving a dependency race condition between secret and build modules, ensuring stable resource creation. Working primarily with Go, HCL, and Shell, Alex demonstrated depth in cloud automation and infrastructure reliability, producing maintainable solutions that address both deployment complexity and operational stability.
