Developed and delivered HubSpot Custom Objects Support and Discovery for the hotgluexyz/tap-hubspot-beta repository, expanding the tap’s data extraction capabilities to include user-defined objects. Leveraging Python, Singer, and ETL best practices, the work introduced a dynamic discovery stream that enumerates custom object schemas and properties, enabling the tap to adapt to evolving customer data models. The implementation focused on extensibility and configurability, allowing for greater business value through broader data coverage and faster onboarding. The feature was validated with targeted testing to ensure backward compatibility and reliability, reflecting a thoughtful approach to API integration and data engineering challenges.
