Worked on enhancing network configuration deviation management within the openconfig/featureprofiles repository, focusing on expanding cross-vendor support for BGP and QoS protocols. Leveraged data modeling and protocol management skills to introduce new deviation definitions and update deviations.textproto, addressing compatibility gaps for ARISTA, CISCO, and NOKIA platforms. Utilized protobuf to structure and maintain deviation data, applying bot-assisted suggestions to improve internal references and maintainability. The work laid the foundation for broader platform support, enabling more accurate configuration validation and reducing onboarding time for customers managing network deviations across multiple vendors. No bugs were fixed during this period, with efforts centered on feature delivery.
