Worked on the ArchipelagoMW/Archipelago repository, delivering three targeted features over three months focused on backend development, data export, and game randomization. Enhanced CSV outputs by adding a Player ID column, improving data clarity and analytics integration using Python. Improved the Entrance Randomizer by enabling partial entrances and refining dead-end detection, resulting in more robust and accurate randomization logic. Developed a visualization enhancement for entrance randomization, introducing color-mapped debugging and full-region visualization to aid in debugging and reproducibility. Emphasized unit testing, data visualization, and debugging throughout, with a methodical, incremental approach that prioritized clarity, maintainability, and downstream usability of features.
February 2026 — ArchipelagoMW/Archipelago: Delivered a major Visualization Enhancement for Entrance Randomization (GER) that strengthens debugging, visibility, and reproducibility. Implemented color-mapped debugging via Entrance.randomization_group, enabling precise identification of matching groups and dangling entrances. Added full region visualization, including unreached regions and unconnected entrances, to provide a complete view of potential ER targets. Introduced deterministic color assignment and an auto color mapping option to ensure consistent visuals across runs. Expanded controls with detail_other_regions and detail_disconnected_regions for clearer behavior and naming consistency. Stability and quality improvements include an overflow check to prevent potential infinite loops and cleanup of unused imports. April 2025 — ArchipelagoMW/Archipelago: Key deliverables focused on Entrance Randomizer improvements to enhance initialization reliability and accuracy. No major bugs fixed this month. Impact: more robust and predictable randomization experience, reduced initialization issues for users. Technologies/skills demonstrated include feature flag enablement for partial entrances, targeted logic refinement for dead-end detection, and incremental, commit-driven delivery across the Archipelago repository.

March 2025 focused on delivering a targeted CSV output enhancement for Archipelago to improve data clarity and downstream analytics readiness. The primary delivery added a Player ID column to both the data and header, enabling unambiguous per-player configuration tracking and easier integration with analytics pipelines.
