Worked on maintaining the mitodl/open-edx-plugins repository by delivering a patch-level dependency update for the ol-openedx-chat-xblock integration. Focused on sustaining platform stability and compatibility, the work involved updating the dependency version in the pyproject.toml file to 0.3.7 without introducing any code changes. This approach minimized the risk of version drift and ensured the chat integration remained aligned with the latest platform requirements. Utilized skills in dependency management and version control, specifically working with TOML for configuration. All changes were carefully documented and referenced for release readiness, supporting traceability and ongoing maintainability within the Open edX plugin ecosystem.
