Worked on the DrFaust92/helm-charts-2 repository to deliver an ingress template and Helm chart improvements for the Prometheus Fastly Exporter, focusing on enhancing routing, access control, and deployment flexibility. The approach centered on restructuring the Helm chart for better maintainability and reliability, addressing configuration drift by fixing a duplicate environment key in the deployment. Leveraged DevOps practices and Kubernetes expertise, using YAML to define and manage chart resources. These changes improved the overall chart quality and release readiness, enabling smoother rollouts and faster iteration in the Helm chart lifecycle while supporting more robust and flexible deployment options for end users.
