
Worked on modernizing IBM MQ dashboards in the newrelic/newrelic-quickstarts repository, delivering a consolidated telemetry surface for improved monitoring. The project involved migrating dashboards to Prometheus-format metrics, introducing an Otel Compute Pool dashboard, and adding a real-time Queue Manager Status widget. Addressed NRQL parser conflicts by patching queries and standardizing metric naming, which improved data correctness and live validation across 28 dashboards. Utilized JavaScript, YAML, and JSON to refine dashboard layouts and implement environment filters, ensuring only relevant telemetry data was surfaced. Comprehensive validation against staging environments ensured reliable business-critical visibility and streamlined monitoring operations for IBM MQ systems.
