Developed GPU hardware support for the NVIDIA RTX A4000 and RTX 4000 Ada within the nrkno/netbox-devicetype-library, enabling customers to deploy workloads on newer GPUs and benefit from improved performance. Focused on data modeling and hardware integration, the work involved designing new GPU modules that align with the library’s existing module-based architecture to ensure seamless integration and maintainability. Leveraged YAML for configuration and commit-traceable collaboration to document changes. This feature expanded hardware compatibility, allowing for faster GPU migrations and supporting modern NVIDIA hardware requirements. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature development.
