Worked on the clouddrove/github-shared-workflows repository to enhance code governance and infrastructure validation within shared workflows. Focused on improving pull request checks by enforcing conventional commit formats and expanding Terraform validation and initialization steps. Leveraged DevOps practices, GitHub Actions, and YAML to integrate stricter automation into the PR workflow, enabling earlier detection of formatting and infrastructure issues. These changes reduced review friction and deployment risk by ensuring consistent commit messaging and validated infrastructure changes before merging. The work emphasized reliability and maintainability, providing a more robust foundation for future development and streamlining the process for both reviewers and contributors.
