During February 2025, work centered on developing a reusable GitHub Actions workflow for the clouddrove/github-shared-workflows repository, aimed at automating security scans across AWS environments. The solution leveraged YAML and AWS technologies to enable configurable Prowler scans, supporting options such as cloud provider selection, AWS region, access token lifetime, and role duration. By integrating with IAM roles and AWS credentials, the workflow facilitated secure, multi-account execution. Automated reporting was achieved through S3 uploads, Slack notifications, and Security Hub integration, streamlining incident management and centralizing threat visibility. The project emphasized CI/CD best practices and cloud security automation within shared workflows.
