Thalvlac worked on the stremio/stremio-web repository, focusing on frontend improvements to enhance UI consistency and maintainability. Over the course of a month, Thalvlac standardized button labels in the Intro component to lowercase, aligning with the project’s design system. Using JavaScript, React, and LESS, Thalvlac refactored the rendering logic to eliminate unnecessary classnames and removed the unused .uppercase CSS class, reducing DOM complexity and stylesheet clutter. This targeted feature work improved the overall user experience and positioned the codebase for easier future updates, reflecting a thoughtful approach to maintainability and adherence to established frontend development conventions.
