April 2026: Delivered two Terraform-driven enhancements to ministryofjustice/modernisation-platform-environments focused on Oracle RDS reliability, security, and parameter management. Removed the null resource driving RDS maintenance actions and upgraded the Oracle RDS engine to a newer version, improving security posture and feature availability. Simplified RDS parameter management by introducing and then removing the NLS territory parameter, reducing configuration complexity and maintenance overhead. These changes reduce operational risk, speed up provisioning, and align infrastructure with current Oracle capabilities.

January 2025 — Initiated CDC Access Control PoC in ministryofjustice/modernisation-platform-environments. Delivered initial PoC scaffolding and configuration groundwork for CDC access control. No production code changes were committed. The work provides a repeatable foundation for secure data access governance and will enable systematic enforcement of access policies in upcoming sprints.
