Worked on improving localization reliability in the archivesspace/archivesspace repository by delivering an automated fix that ensures locale YAML variables are consistently named and correctly used across all supported languages. Focused on identifying and correcting incorrect variable names and placeholders within YAML files, this work enhanced translation accuracy and improved the multilingual user experience. Leveraging skills in YAML, internationalization, and localization, the developer implemented an auto-correction mechanism that reduced translation rendering issues and minimized support requests related to language inconsistencies. The changes contributed to a smoother, more reliable localization process, ensuring accurate and consistent messaging for users in multiple languages.
