Worked on the archivesspace/archivesspace repository to clarify and stabilize the event creation workflow, focusing on improving user navigation during event creation. Addressed a navigation bug where the +1 button previously redirected users to an edit page instead of a new event form, which could cause confusion when initiating events from the main menu. The solution involved updating the logic so that, in the absence of a redirect, the button now opens a fresh event creation form as intended. This backend and frontend fix, implemented using Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, and HTML, enhances workflow clarity and maintainability for future development.
