Developed a Layered Permission Configuration System for the Schniz/opencode-1 repository, focusing on improving flexibility and clarity in permission management. The solution introduced ordered layered arrays, allowing later rules to override earlier ones while preserving the intended sequence of permissions. This approach reduced configuration errors and supported smoother policy evolution without breaking existing setups. The work included a targeted bug fix to maintain permission ordering within the new system. Collaboration with other contributors ensured cross-team alignment and backward compatibility. The project was implemented using TypeScript and full stack development practices, with a strong emphasis on robust testing to ensure reliability and maintainability.
