During November 2024, Ashvin Sukhoo contributed to the linagora/tmail-flutter repository by implementing Morisyen (Creole) language support for the TeamMail UI. He updated the intl_mfe.arb file using Weblate to manage the translation workflow, ensuring traceability and consistency in localization. His work focused on internationalization and localization, specifically targeting accessibility for Morisyen-speaking users. By integrating Morisyen translations, Ashvin enabled TeamMail to reach a broader audience and improved the app’s inclusivity. The technical approach leveraged ARB files and collaborative translation tools, laying groundwork for future multilingual releases. This feature deepened the project’s localization infrastructure without introducing bug fixes.
