Worked on the sap-contributions/cloud_controller_ng repository to deliver broker_provided_metadata support within service instance management. This involved updating the database schema and data models to persist broker-provided metadata, ensuring that this information is included in service instance API responses. The approach required careful database migrations and ORM updates, as well as revisions to the API documentation to accurately reflect the new metadata handling. Using Ruby for back end development and database management, the work enabled richer broker integrations and improved data fidelity for customers. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with the focus remaining on feature delivery and documentation.
