Developed and delivered the Crash Auto Recovery feature for the duckduckgo/privacy-configuration repository, introducing a version-gated mechanism that activates crash recovery for DDG-WV only on versions 0.142.1 and above, while supporting distinct minimum version requirements for DDG-WV and WV2. The implementation, written in JavaScript, involved refining configuration management by removing minSupportedVersion checks from config tests, which streamlined validation and reduced friction in the testing process. This work enhanced crash resilience and deployment reliability across platforms, leveraging full stack development and testing skills to ensure robust feature delivery and measurable improvements in uptime for the supported applications.
